原来工作过的公司被收购所想到的

无意之间,在上网的时候,发现原来工作过的一家单位被收购了,突然之间陷入了沉思。
公司创始于1992年,是改革开放之后的产物,由于自然人股东是美籍华人,这家公司是当时地地道道的中美合作企业。回想起来,在公司的门口,有五星红旗和星条旗,每当走进公司的时候,都是一种满满的自豪感。


在经历了大约六年的铺垫期,该公司进入了快速发展的轨道,每年的产值在一两千万,一直维持了接近十年。到了2012年之后,也就是公司成立20年之后,市场偏好开始发生改变,当管理层开始注意到市场萎缩的时候,已经为时已晚。加上在20年的时间中,没有替代升级产品研发出来,市场开始发生较大的滑坡。
在20年的时间中,管理层对究竟是从事保健品还是从事药品生产争论不休,导致绝对的失去了两个市场的先发优势,本来一手好牌打得稀烂。
分析其衰退的原因,企业在发展顺利的时候,通常会形成一种非常强势的文化,就是太过于强势的文化,通常会形成一种类似封建帝国的政治生态。在这个模拟的封建帝国中,总经理与董事长就是这个王国的皇帝,其他的似乎都是臣民,一般员工就是蚂蚁。当皇帝大臣们一天天忙于争斗的时候,忘记掉了自己的企业其实不是一个封闭的帝国,而是一个处于凶险市场环境中,必须依靠市场交易来维持生存的法人实体,而处于帝国外的势力正在鲸吞蚕食自己的肉身。当管理层焕然大悟的时候,其实已经失去了帝国的任何优势,只能任凭宰割了。是文化最终导致了这样的企业在复杂的市场环境逐渐失去竞争力,甚而至于被市场淘汰。
